Arthur Rubinstein Festival

The prizes winner Polish pianist will participate the Arthur Rubinstein International music competition

The Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition will start on March 15th 2021.

The Polish pianist Aleksandra Świgut will participate in the international competition that is being held in Tel Aviv every three years and this year for the first time, in an innovative format that combines online recitals from around the world along with chamber and orchestral concerts from the concert halls in Israel.

By the competition the audience is exposed to the best young talents in the piano world! During the competition, the contestants perform various recitals, and get to play chamber and orchestral concerts together with the leading orchestras in Israel. Due to being one of the five best competitions in the world, its winners over the years are considered a promise and success and the competition is a significant stone at the beginning of their career.

The audience will be exposed to 36 young and aspiring pianists-The most promising talents of the highest order, including Polish pianist Świgut Aleksandra.

Aleksandra Świgut, pianist, a graduate and teacher of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, a prize-winner of the 1st International Chopin Competition on Period Instruments in Warsaw.
Her additional area of expertise is historical piano performance. Her wide experience with historical and modern instruments and different performance practices makes her interpretations unique. She has won many prizes in piano competitions, including in Ettlingen, Enschede and New Orleans and at the Polish Chopin Competition in Warsaw. She has appeared at festivals in Nohant, Paris and Duszniki-Zdrój, as well as the Beethoven Easter Festival and ‘Chopin and his Europe’. As a soloist, she has performed among others with the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra and Netherlands Symphony Orchestra. She has received multiple grants from the Polish Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
She is represented by the Ludvig van Beethoven Association under the patronage of Elżbieta Penderecka.
