Polish philosopher Prof. Andrzej Leder – Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw – will participate the Night of Philosophy in Tel Aviv on May 30th.
The 5th edition of the Night of Philosophy is organized by the French Institute and the Goethe Institute in partnership with the Polish Institute, the Austrian Cultural Forum and the Cervantes Institute. The entire night long event during which the public will be able to attend discussions, lectures, readings and panels in Hebrew, English and French languages.
Prof. Andrzej Leder will give two lecture during the Night of Philosophy:
– 21:45 – 22:25 – Walter Benjamin’s sentence: there are no epochs of decline
– 23:15 – 23:55 – End of the principle of hope? Utopia, memory and the libidinal economy.
