A literature event about the Jewish-Polish immigrants to Israel will be held on Friday, July 31st at 11:00.
The event will be a virtual Zoom meeting with the journalist and writer Karolina Przewrocka-Aderet who published her book “Polanim” (by Czarne publishing house) documenting waves of Polish Jewish emigration to Israel, reasons that pushed them to moved and how they adapted.
The meeting will be held in Polish
What does it mean to be Polish in Israel? Is relation to Poland still important for the next generations? Is “Polishness” a value, a subject of jokes, or a part of Israeli culture?
