I am a guitar – The Tzvata theater International Guitar Festival

The fourth annual International Guitar Festival will be held in Tel Aviv and present the many different ways guitar music is played today, by the best musicians in a variety of styles across many cultures

The fourth annual International Guitar Festival will be held at Tzavta Theater Tel Aviv on October 24-27 and present the many different ways guitar music is played today,

this will be done by the best musicians in a variety of styles across many cultures.

The goal of the festival is to present the cultural wealth of the guitar using the best talents in the world today.

Dani Robas will perform works by Mati Kaspi/ Guy Mazig will perform in the groove style/ Marko Topchii from Ukraine will offer classic guitar music,

as will Polish guitar master Mateusz Kowalski/ Daniel Akiva will be lauded by a special tribute concert/ Ariel Lazarus Ensemble will offer guitar music from East and West and much more.

Classic music, World music, Rock and Ladino – in all these styles the guitar shines and this is why we place it at the center of this 4’th edition of the international I am a guitar festival.

In it, we bring the best performances by the top talents in the field today.

Please note that, before the festival, Mr. Kowalski will offer a workshop at the Jerusalem Academy of Music (Wednesday, October 26, 14:00 PM.).

Winner of the Young Poland Award, the 27 year old musician is a graduate of the Grażyna Bacewicz State School of Music in Koszalin, where he was taught by Dariusz Schmidt.

He later entered the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw where he trained under Ryszard Bałauszko.

He was praised by top of the line guitar masters such as Sergio Assad (Brazil) and Oscar Ghiglia (Italy).

Today, Kowalski tours around the world and teaches at the Chopin Academy of Music
