The Chopin Competition is one of the most prestigious and demanding events in the world of classical music. Held only once every five years, it attracts young pianists from around the globe who must master the virtuosic and emotional peaks of the legendary Polish composer’s works. Often called “the Olympics of pianists,” the competition has launched the careers of many past winners who went on to become international stars.
