The “Ha’Professor Ha’Mafuzar” and the Polish Super Scientists

A first-of-its-kind event in Israel: an interactive science show for the whole family at the Davidson Institute of Science Education, combining spectacular experiments, humor, and the stories of groundbreaking Polish scientists.

Are you ready to discover the superpowers of science?

For the first time in Israel, families are invited to an interactive, colorful, and lively science show celebrating the extraordinary achievements of Polish scientists and inventors. Through spectacular experiments, surprising discoveries, and plenty of humor, the “Ha’Professor Ha’Mefuzar” will bring science to life before your eyes — and invite children in the audience to take part in experiments themselves.

The show is created and performed in Hebrew by Roi Friling – an Israeli an Israeli creator, actor, performer, and science educator – known by his stage name “The Absent-Minded Professor” (“HaProfessor HaMefuzar” in Hebrew), who brings science to life through entertaining experiments, humor, and audience participation. Through spectacular experiments, surprising discoveries, and plenty of humor, he takes the audience on a fascinating journey through the world of science — and invites children to take part in experiments themselves.

During the show, we will discover the stories of some of the greatest Polish scientists, including Maria Skłodowska-Curie — the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize and the first person to win Nobel Prizes in two different scientific fields; Nicolaus Copernicus, who transformed our understanding of the Earth’s place in the universe; as well as Stefan Banach, Ignacy Łukasiewicz, and other scientists and inventors who left their mark on world science.

“Ha’Professor Ha’Mefuzar” and the Polish Super Scientists is an interactive science show for the whole family, inspired by the achievements of Polish and Polish-Jewish scientists and inventors. Created and performed in Hebrew, the show combines fascinating scientific experiments, active audience participation, and accessible educational content specially adapted for children and families.

The event was produced at the initiative of the Polish Embassy in Israel and the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv, in cooperation with Roi Friling.
