The upcoming exhibition in the Polish district of Seaton in Aberdeen aims to showcase the professional and cultural activities of the Polish community and build their image in the city.

 
 

 

16 April – 30 June 2023 Cruickshank Botanic Garden – Aberdeen

Starting from April 16th, you will be able to see the exhibition ‘Loons & Quines o’ Seaton and Old Aberdeen’ in the ‘Polish’ district of Seaton at Cruickshank Botanic Garden. The exhibition is the second part of a social campaign, showcasing the Polish community as active professionals and cultural residents of Aberdeen, integrating themselves through their activities and lives with the district and the city.

The ‘Loons & Quines o’ Seaton and Old Aberdeen’ project aims to build the image of Poles in Aberdeen. The project’s author and initiator is Marta Surowiec, and the photographer is Dorota Puszkiewicz. The exhibition’s sponsors are the residents of Seaton and Old Aberdeen, and we thank them for their participation, as well as the volunteers. The exhibition will be available until the end of June.

Polish Culture Festival in the UK @

The Polish Social and Cultural Centre (POSK) and the Pomysłodalnia Foundation have launched an open call for UK-based Polish poets and artists to join the inaugural "Polish, Very Polish" festival in London from 12–20 September 2026.
