A Prizewinning translator from Polish shared with us her literary recommendations during the lockdown, but they are no less relevant now!
Antonia Lloyd-Jones is known for her work translating Polish literature into English, she’s been a recipient of the Transatlantyk award in 2018 and Found in Translation award in 2009 and 2012.
For years she’s been bringing Nobel Prize in Literature laureate Olga Tokarczuk’s books to the attention of the English speakers.
She also helps to mold new generations of translators as a mentor for the Emerging Translator Mentorship programme supported by PCI.
We asked her to share five aspects of Polish culture that helped her to go through the lockdown for the #PolishCultureKatchUp series.
