Its recording of the complete quartets of Grażyna Bacewicz (1909-69) won a Gramaphone Award and was described by BBC Music Magazine as ‘a tremendous achievement’; equally accalimed have been its CDs of the Piano Quintent written in the last year of his life by Juliusz Zarębski (1854-85), and the quartets of the rediscovered Mieczysław Weinberg.

The current composition of the quartet includes:

  • Szymon Krzeszowiec (violin I)
  • Arkadiusz Kubica (violin II)
  • Łukasz Syrnicki (viola)
  • Piotr Janosik (cello)
