Exhibition in Studio ExPurgamento - Camden's tiniest gallery

Group show around the concept of art in, of and about boxes.

Themed group shows at Studio ExPurgamento come around but once a year. This November, artists from across the UK and Europe and as far afield as the USA, Cuba and Japan were again selected to exhibit in one of London’s smallest art galleries.

Square2 features a wide range of disciplines, styles and media; including sculpture and kinetic art, drawing, ceramics, photography, found objects and text, live performance and video – all curated around the concept of art in, of and about boxes by Natalia Zagorska-Thomas.

Just like each work contained within the gallery walls, the exhibition as a whole aims to convey the sense of intrigue experienced upon lifting the lid on the secret world contained within.

Studio ExPurgamento is a small purpose built gallery inside a private apartment in Camden Town, London owned by Natalia and Simon Zagorscy-Thomas. Since 2012 Natalia has been curating several shows a year of different media by international artists. The emphasis is on showing work of Polish and other foreign artists alongside their British colleagues.
